The second show that I attended at the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival was the L'Oreal Independent Runway. This show was all about emerging Australian Designers including Extinct, Francis Leon, Garth Cook, Jolet, ksubi Livia Arena, Lui Hon, One Fell Swoop, Something Else and Song For The Mute. Fortunately, I had the privilege of sitting at the front for this show so I was able to get some great photos! Here are some of my favourite photos and designs from the show.
Garth Cook
I have always been a huge fan of tartan. Garth Cook used tartan with great and vibrant colours.

Extinct
Blazers, big jackets, and lots of brown. Extinct's collection is so natural, cool and sexy.

One Fell Swoop
These designs were all about baggy layers, the dresses looked amazing. The velvet dress is my favourite.

Jolet
Personally, this designer was the highlight of the show. Especially because of the artificial element designs.
